Why UNITY™?
Statistically speaking, underrepresented Financial Service Professionals tend to receive a lot less resources, and connections—less than 2% of female founders have achieved more than 7 figures in revenue. There are lots of theories as to why, but I’d argue it’s because so much of the modern business system was built by and for white men. Trying to find connections within a community that looked like me and shared my values, all while simultaneously trying to grow a business was really challenging.
Our goal at Females and Finance is to put our UNITY™ Program members in spaces and places where they are more visible and called upon for their subject matter expertise.
Every voice is unique and as a UNITY™ Program member, we want your open feedback, event participation, and will provide ways for you to share with the finance community at-large.
Females and Finance is proud to work closely with our UNITY™ Executive Advisor, Peggy Haslach, CFP®,CLU® of The Finity Group to provide guidance around the necessary Roundtable Topics, Advisor Courses, webinars, speakers, and more when it comes to supporting the LGBTQ+ Financial Service Professional as well as the allies who champion those efforts.
